Hydrogen energy storage

Hydrogen energy storage represents a promising solution with the potential to support grid balancing effectively. This stored hydrogen can either be stored in fuel cells, injected into gas pipelines to decarbonise the national gas grid or used in reciprocating at peaking stations to balance the electrical grid during high demand.
