An Evening with Clarke Energy in Sydney

Nick Farr-Jones awards a signed Rugby Guernsey to George Tanevski

Clarke Energy recently hosted ‘An Evening with Clarke Energy’ in Sydney at the Four Seasons Hotel located at The Rocks.

The event was a great success with over 50 power industry professionals attending from various sectors ranging from mine engineering to data centre development.

The event kicked off with a welcome reception which was followed by presentations delivered by Clarke Energy team members Greg Columbus, Michael Jones, Martin Smith, Vincent Kain and Rick Clarke.

During the presentations, the Clarke Energy representatives explained the significance of the acquisition by Kohler last year and how the Kohler’s investment in the business has underpinned the growth and expansion into new market sectors.

Guests heard about the range of Kohler diesel generator sets ranging from 20kVA to 4.2MVA that are now supplied and serviced by Clarke Energy and its channel partners throughout the South Pacific region.

The presentations also provided an insight into how the business is supporting its customers with the provision of hybrid power solutions.

A keynote speech was delivered by Australian sporting legend, ex Wallabies Captain Nick Farr-Jones, who engaged the audience with an insight into the highs and lows of his successful career in professional rugby union.

The formal presentations concluded with a door prize draw won by George Tanevski from national energy utility, Origin.

Michael Jones explains the synergies between the Kohler diesel generator product line and Clarke Energy’s traditional gas fired Jenbacher business.
