Clarke Energy has won Engineering Company of the Year at Insider Media’s International Trade Awards in Manchester. The event was held at the Lowry hotel and consisted of a large number of the region’s businesses demonstrating successful international trading practices.
‘The judges praised Clarke Energy’s coherent international strategy and focus on new markets. The company, which distributes and services GE gas engines, has built a global £200m plus business that works to support local nationals to run its overseas offices; it has also recently expanded through acquisition into Southern Africa and Bangladesh in the past year.” (Insider Media 2014)
Clarke Energy has delivered a number of year’s increased growth reaching £207m in 2012. In 2013 the company made a series of acquisitions in Southern Africa and Bangladesh. Clarke Energy was recently announced as Export Champion 2014 by UKTI Northwest.
