Clarke Energy won the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Borough of Knowsley’ at the Knowsley Business and Regeneration Awards. The event took place at the Grand Marquee at Knowsley Safari Park. There were in excess of 600 people in attendance recognising success stories from companies in the local area.
Councillor Dave Lonergan, Knowsley Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Economy and Skills said, “The Awards are always a highlight in the Knowsley calendar, and once again we were overwhelmed with the stories of innovation, personal success and contribution to the economy, and the Borough as a whole from businesses and entrepreneurs.”
He continued: “The awards celebrate companies and organisations of all sizes and in all sectors, recognising the wealth of expertise, business talent and passion that exists in the Borough. Every individual and organisation should be proud of their achievements.”

Clarke Energy is delighted to receive this recognition and would like to thank Knowsley Council. Clarke Energy’s growth has been consistent over a number of years and now has a turnover in excess of £220 million with operations in 12 countries across the world. Clarke Energy is a specialist in the supply and maintenance of energy efficient power plants operating on gas.
The award builds upon last year’s success when the company won Business of the Year >50 employees.
