Andy Cooper from Clarke Energy will be delivering a presentation at the Health, Safety & Environmental Management in Anaerobic Digestion Conference. The event will be taking place on the 17th of October at Harper Adams University College, Shropshire.
Our presentation will provide an outline of biogas CHP, and will outline specific aspects of health and safety that are specific to biogas cogeneration units.
The conference is located at Harper Adams University College, who have themselves built a 0.5MWe biogas plant utilising a gas engine facility that is engineered, installed and maintained by Clarke Energy. Follow this link for the case study.
Biogas experience in the UK
Clarke Energy has supplied over 40MWe of combined heat and power plants (CHP) for agricultural biogas, distillery biogas and biogas from waste plants in the UK alone. In addition we have supplied over 68MWe of CHP plants to the sewage gas sector and over 482MWe to the landfill  gas sector. With this installed base on biological gas applications and our extensive service coverage we are in a leading position supporting the UK biogas sector.
