Clarke Energy will be exhibiting at UK Green Gas Day 2019 (formerly UK Biomethane Day), taking place on 8th May at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
The Renewable Energy Association (REA) have been running Biomethane Day since 2012, the event is the largest gathering in the gas-to-grid industry. The focus of UK Green Gas Day 2019 will be to brief the industry on policy and technical developments relevant to all green gases, including biomethane, H2, bio-SNG and P2G (methane made from wind).
Clarke Energy recently supplied and installed their first biogas upgrading plant at a waste water treatment plant in Perpignan, France. The biogas cleaning technology at the plant consists in treating the biogas in order to obtain biomethane, similar to natural gas. The first biomethane cubic meters are injected into the gas network and the unit can thus provide the equivalent of the annual consumption of 1,200 homes.
