Clarke Energy participated in the UK-Ghana trade mission on the 7th of March 2017.
The trade mission was hosted by the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin and Adam Afriyie, the UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Ghana. It was an opportunity to give UK companies doing business in Ghana and those looking to do business in Ghana the platform to meet with the government.
Discussions with the Ghanaian government was led by the Ghanaian Vice President, His Excellency Mahamudu Bawumia. The UK delegation also had meetings with the Minister of Finance, a representative of the Minster of Energy, Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Investment Promotion Council and Minister of Business Development.
The new Ghanaian administration is keen on reducing the country’s debt and attracting more investment into Ghana.
