Clarke Energy is sponsoring and speaking at the Innovation in Facilities Management Exhibtion, hosted by and held at Barts Health NHS Trust on 13th December 2016.
The event is now in its second year and the first innovation in facilities management (FM) event. The concept for this exhibition has been driven by a desire to challenge the norms in FM and find new and innovative solutions to issues faced by those working in FM, in healthcare and further afield. It has been designed with a focus on five core components; Sustainability, Estates Services, Facilities Services, PFI Services and Risk Compliance.
Our natural gas sector manager Paul O’Â’Neill will be presenting about the benefits of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and Barts Health NHS TrustÂ’s combined cooling, heat and power plant. Clarke Energy supplied Barts NHS Trust with one of GE’s Ecomagination qualified 1.4-megawatt (MW) Jenbacher gas engines to provide reliable electricity and heat to the combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP) energy centre. Clarke Energy also supplied a 250-kilowatt absorption chiller, which delivers needed cooling water for the hospital and balance of plant equipment.
