Clarke Energy is delighted to have been awarded the ‘African Order or Merit in the Provision of Gas Power Generation Technology 2011’
They (awards technical and engineering committee) announced the award on the 3rd May 2011 and will present the award to Clarke Energy at a ceremony in Abuja on the 25th of June.
The parameters and performance indicators used for judging the award include:
- Excellence in gas power generation technology
- Expertise in independent gas power equipment and spare parts
- Outstanding in after sales support infrastructure and staff training
- Competent in engineering, design and project management
- Innovations in quality control, assurance and health, safety and environment consideration
- Service high quality, track record and value creation
- Corporate general performance and operational excellence
- Compliance with local content policy and development
- Compliance with professional codes and ethical standards
- Compliance with government regulatory laws and guidelines
In addition further research conducted by the Institute revealed that Clarke Energy’s activities have contributed to:
- Reduction in unemployment and poverty
- Development of human capital in power solution
- Growth of the economy in general
