Wilga Park Coal Seam Methane Power Station

The project is the sole undertaking of the company’s wholly owned subsidiary Narrabri Power Limited and comprises:-

  • A coal seam gas gathering and processing system to deliver gas from the Coonarah Field, to the power station site at Wilga Park, 12 kilometres west of Narrabri, on land owned by the company.
  • A power station comprising 11 x 1 MWe GE Jenbacher gas reciprocating engines and generating sets with four associated 415 V to 11 kV transformers.
  • A high voltage switchyard, including an 11 kV to 66 kV step-up transformer to deliver power station output into an existing 66 kV transmission line adjacent to the power station site; and a 10 year Power Purchase Agreement with Country Energy for the sale of all power station output.
