Clarke Energy Ireland Exhibits at the Energy Show 2011

Clarke Energy Ireland and GE’s Jenbacher exhibited once more at the Energy Show 2011, which took place between the 30-31st of March. This annual event is arranged by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and is located at the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin. The SEAI have released visitor figures which show over 4,000 people visited the event which shows the energy industry in Ireland is currently thriving.

The show was officially opened by Minister for Communications, Energy & Natural Resources, Pat Rabbitte, who was quoted as saying “Sustainable energy offers many opportunities for businesses in Ireland – both for companies bringing innovative energy saving products and services to international markets, and for companies who have adopted energy efficiency as a core practice. Green jobs have an important role to play in our economic recovery as businesses are beginning to realise the benefits to be achieved from sustainable energy.“

Ireland shows strong potential for future growth, particularly in the application of biogas in Northern Ireland were banding for Renewables Obligations certificates (ROCs) has recently been increased. John Curley, General Manager of Clarke Energy’s operations in Ireland commenting on this year’s Energy Show noted that many visitors to the Clarke Energy stand were looking for technologies to improve primary energy utilisation hence increasing their energy efficiency.

This year we have also seen an increased focus on the utilisation of biogas from landfill and anaerobic digestion, suggesting a greater desire to improve the utilisation of the biological fraction of waste and renewable resource in Ireland. Clarke Energy Ireland has dedicated offices based in Newtownmountkennedy and is the authorised GE’s Jenbacher distributor and service partner for the Irish Republic and Northern Ireland.

The company is offers dedicated local support for the installation, project management, commissioning and maintenance of GE’s Jenbacher gas engines throughout Ireland.
