Receptionist

Clarke Energy is seeking a Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team at our Knowsley Headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an award‑winning, multi‑national business known for engineering excellence and outstanding customer service.
As the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and colleagues, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive experience while ensuring the smooth running of day‑to‑day office activities.
About the Role
In this varied and people-focused role, you will help represent Clarke Energy with professionalism and warmth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming visitors, issuing security passes and providing brief site inductions
- Organising taxis and transportation for staff and visitors
- Maintaining a tidy, friendly and professional reception area at all times
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, including franking and distributing to relevant departments
- Acting as the liaison for the telephone answering service, sharing messages with the correct teams and updating details for new starters, leavers and staff leave
- Arranging signing of documents and organising couriers for Directors as required
- Preparing meeting rooms, arranging refreshments and coordinating lunch orders
- Keeping office, kitchen and meeting room spaces stocked, tidy and presentable
- Providing administrative support including photocopying, filing and general office tasks
- Supporting business events, staff gatherings and customer dinners alongside the PA to Directors
- Ordering office supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Collating and communicating weekly whereabouts for office-based employees

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Desirable
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
