Clarke Energy Australia is seeking a proactive and organised Commercial and Legal Administrator to join our Commercial team and support the smooth execution and management of commercial contracts, registers and legal documentation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, this role is key to supporting the Commercial and Legal teams through high-quality administrative coordination. You’ll manage legal registers, assist with document execution, and help ensure timely delivery of legal services across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Commercial and Legal team, including document formatting, filing, and execution via DocuSign.
- Maintain, monitor and update legal registers (Contracts, Bank Guarantees, NDAs, Leases, etc.)
- Create registers in SharePoint (for compliance and other obligations).
- Assist with presentations, training, and general legal coordination.
- Reconcile expense reports and assist with document control tasks.
- Support reception/switchboard duties as required.
- Uphold confidentiality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a similar legal or commercial administration role.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in legal or commercial administration is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to building trust with internal stakeholders.
- Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
