Located approximately 12 km west of Narrabri, Wilga Park helps supply reliable electricity to the region using gas drawn from the nearby Coonarah Field. The facility supports local industry and households, and forms part of the wider Narrabri energy development that underpins economic activity and community growth.
Clarke Energy has supported the Wilga Park facility over several years as a technology and engineering partner. Our involvement has focused on the power station; including the supply, installation and commissioning of INNIO Jenbacher gas engines and associated power generation equipment, which export electricity into the local 66 kV network.
Today, Clarke Energy continues to provide service support for the site, ensuring reliability and fast response times by maintaining a full parts supply chain and skilled operational capability. This ongoing involvement helps secure the dependable performance that communities and local businesses rely on.
The broader Narrabri Gas Project has the potential to supply a significant portion of New South Wales’ gas demand, making facilities like Wilga Park a vital part of the state’s energy future.
