Clarke Energy recently marked Apprenticeship Week 2025 at our Knowsley Headquarters, Liverpool, celebrating the dedication, talent, and achievements of our apprentices across the UK and Ireland. The week highlighted the importance of hands-on learning, professional development, and the next generation of engineers.
Spotlight on Outstanding Apprentices
During the celebrations, three apprentices were recognised for their exceptional progress and contributions:
- Shaun Salinas – Projects Apprentice
Clarke Energy’s first-ever Projects Apprentice, Shaun has completed his three-year journey and is already taking on responsibilities as a Project Engineer within our EPC team. Known for building strong customer relationships and tackling complex problems, Shaun has demonstrated curiosity, dedication, and skill from day one. - Keith Ryan – Field Service Apprentice
Moving from Year 3 into Year 4 this September, Keith is recognised for his outstanding maintenance skills and commitment, showing a bright future in field service engineering. - Craig Mallen – Field Service Apprentice
Also progressing from Year 3 to Year 4, Craig excels in every task and was celebrated for his professionalism and technical expertise.
Apprentice Awards
The celebrations also featured awards recognising exceptional talent:
- Apprentice of the Year: Craig Mallen – honoured for his contribution to the apprenticeship scheme and his field service area, demonstrating dedication, professionalism, and technical excellence.
- Survival Award: Chris Quinn, Field Service Apprentice – voted by his peers during the residential at Patterdale for his positivity, humour, and commitment in challenging conditions.
