Empowering the Future: Clarke Energy’s Commitment to Apprenticeship Excellence

At Clarke Energy Australia, we are steadfast in our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Our apprenticeship scheme is at the heart of this commitment, designed to cultivate the next generation of skilled professionals who will drive our industry forward.

Lachlan Richard and William Ingram, who embarked on their apprenticeships with Clarke Energy in 2020, have recently transitioned into full-time roles, embodying the success of our training initiatives. Their journey from eager apprentices to skilled tradesmen is a testament to their dedication and Clarke Energy’s commitment to providing a robust learning environment.

Both William and Lachlan, have shown exceptional growth and skill development throughout their apprenticeships. Their transition to full-time roles within our field service team signifies not just an end to their apprenticeship journey but the beginning of a promising career path at Clarke Energy Australia. Commencing their apprenticeships at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, their perseverance, commitment, and determination came to the fore as they travelled to remote parts of Australia, gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job training on the Kohler and Jenbacher products, despite the travel restrictions and uncertainties which COVID presented to us all.

The stories of our apprentices reflect the ethos of Clarke Energy’s training philosophy. Engagement in hands-on work from the outset and the opportunities to explore various aspects of our operations demonstrate our approach to apprenticeship: immersive, inclusive, and highly supportive. Our aim is not only to train but to integrate apprentices into the fabric of our company, treating them as valuable team members whose growth and development are integral to our collective success.

Paul Lughermo, Operations Manager at Clarke Energy Australia, oversees the apprentices and states:

“The enthusiasm and commitment our apprentices bring to their roles and their eagerness to learn, and grow is pivotal to the success of our training programs and an example to the other apprentices who are in the midst of their apprenticeship. Fostering a supportive environment ensures that apprentices like Lachlan and William receive not just technical training but also a broader understanding of our industry and company culture.”

As we celebrate the achievements of our apprentices, we are reminded of the importance of investing in the future. Clarke Energy Australia’s apprenticeship program is more than just a training scheme; it is a pathway to a fulfilling career, offering continuous learning opportunities and the chance to be part of a company that values innovation and excellence.

At Clarke Energy, we are proud to provide a platform where young talents can flourish, contributing to our industry’s future and reinforcing our commitment to excellence and sustainable growth.

In celebrating Lachlan and William’s transition to qualified tradesmen, we welcome the fresh perspectives and energy they bring to Clarke Energy. Their experiences demonstrate the transformative power of apprenticeships, not just for the individuals involved but for our company and the broader industry.
