What We’re Looking For
- An experienced Finance Manager to lead and manage our finance operations across South Africa, Tanzania, and Mozambique.
- A leader with strong work ethics, integrity, and the ability to inspire the team.
- Someone with cross-border finance experience, particularly in East Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the finance departments across three countries.
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, reports, and ledgers within strict deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory returns and regulatory requirements across the three countries.
- Maintain and enhance accounting systems, policies, and procedures; recommend improvements.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections.
- Manage insurance, payroll, and capital expenditure (Capex) processes.
- Coordinate year-end financial activities across the company.
- Partner with the Sales team on project costings, financial terms, and maintenance agreements.
- Provide financial and commercial support to non-finance managers.
- Drive performance and development of the finance team, aligning objectives with company goals.
- Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Requirements
- Professional Qualification: ACCA, CA, or CIMA with audit experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ industry experience, including cross-border operations.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting systems such as Sage and Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/Office skills
- Good business understanding; experience in an engineering environment is an advantage.
