Clarke Energy is proud to have supplied the 4MW generator package to LGI Ltd for their Eastern Creek Renewable Power Project, a landmark collaboration between LGI Ltd and BINGO INDUSTRIES. Situated within BINGO’s Eastern Creek Recycling Ecology Park in New South Wales, this innovative project transforms biogas from the landfill into renewable electricity – advancing BINGO’s sustainability targets and contributing meaningfully to Australia’s clean energy future.

At the heart of the project are four INNIO Jenbacher J320 generators which LGI acquired from Clarke Energy to deliver 4MW of dependable, renewable power by converting landfill methane into electricity. This gas-to-energy initiative reduces greenhouse gas emissions and supports the decarbonisation of the National Electricity Market (NEM) by replacing fossil fuel-based generation with a cleaner alternative. Enhancements to the site’s gas collection system are also underway, designed to maximise biogas recovery and improve long-term energy efficiency.
