What You’ll Do – Key Responsibilities

As a core member of our Proposals Engineering team, you’ll create tailored EPC proposals that meet customer needs and reflect our technical excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing enquiries and RFQs to fully understand customer and project requirements
  • Liaising with clients to clarify objectives and propose value-added solutions
  • Coordinating site visits, vendor meetings, and subcontractor discussions
  • Supporting Sales Engineers and Sector Leads throughout the bidding process
  • Preparing high-quality, cost-effective technical proposals aligned with Clarke Energy’s standards
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Commercial, Projects, and Legal teams to define scope and manage risks
  • Handling supplier RFQs and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Acting as a point of contact for customer queries during the proposal stage
  • Assisting with seamless project handovers to delivery teams
  • Adhering to internal quality and safety standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • A strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
  • At least 1 year of experience in technical proposals, sales engineering, or a similar role

Desirable:

  • Degree or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in projects involving gas engines, BESS (Battery Energy Storage), hydrogen, peaking plants, or data centres

  • Technically minded, with knowledge of engineering best practices, HSE standards, and commercial terms
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools
