Jenbacher Service Training Excellence

Dave JohnsonClarke Energy’s GE-certified trainers in the UK have delivered over 50 Jenbacher gas engines training courses to more than 180 participants. Each training course has had nothing but good feedback from the attendees reflecting on the hard work from Clarke Energy staff. Clarke Energy is able to deliver the highest levels of Jenbacher service training across numerous countries.

One of Clarke Energy’s employees Dave Johnson recently climbed another milestone in his career and passed his GE ‘train-the-trainer’ certification in Jenbacher, Austria (FTA). Dave is now authorised to present GE Field Technician Advanced ‎courses, Extended Level Access, along with GE Field Technician Basic and operator courses.

The team are all delighted for him on his achievement, as he has worked diligently to achieve this role. Dave is now one of only six GE Gas Engine approved trainers worldwide to achieve this level of accreditation.

Dave has progressed through the company, starting as a Clarke Energy apprentice, Field Service Engineer, Technical Trainer and now Technical Training Manager. He is thrilled to be taking on this great opportunity, we wish him the best of luck.

Claudia Barnes, programme manager from GE gave the news to both Dave and Craig Escott stating “he passed the FTA audit with flying colours. We are happy to have people like him working as trainers for Jenbacher gas engines, so congrats again!”

Claudia also sang praises to Clarke Energy on a whole, “The quality of their trainers who have completed our “Train the Trainer” program is excellent, demonstrating the investment that Clarke Energy makes into training for their field service engineers and customers.  The collaboration between the GE Training Center in Jenbach and the Clarke Energy trainers is very positive and we are pleased Clarke Energy delivers such successful training courses.”

The Clarke Energy dedicated training room in the Knowsley offices was built for an optimal learning environment with training facilities equipped with the latest technology and infrastructure. The courses are typically held in small groups, demonstrating deep product knowledge and includes a Diane Blue, XT, XT3 and now XT4 training simulators.
