Some of Clarke Energy’s team in Romania recently joined Elsaco Electronic on a visit to INNIO Group’s headquarters in Austria, where they carried out the Factory Acceptance Test of the Jenbacher J920 engine for their project in Arad.
These high-efficiency engines will soon power the new combined heat and power (CHP) plant in Romania – cutting primary energy consumption by over 30% and enabling future use of green hydrogen.
Tiberiu Visinescu and Olivia Iacobescu represented Clarke Energy Romania during the visit, which included a company presentation and a guided tour of the Jenbacher production facility. It was a valuable opportunity to experience INNIO’s advanced engineering first-hand and to strengthen our shared commitment to sustainable, high-performance energy solutions.
The projects with Elsaco represent a significant milestone for Clarke Energy – among our largest CHP schemes globally and the first to feature INNIO’s J920 FleXtra Jenbacher engines.
