Scope of Work
Clarke Energy were contracted to supply, install and commission a containerised GE Jenbacher gas engine for SBT Group at their Taranaki By-products plant in New Zealand.

Description générale
The cogeneration plant is synchronising with the grid while generating electricity at 415 volts on site and supplying hot water at 135 C to the plant processing by utilising an exhaust gas heat exchanger operating at 12bar pressure. The high efficiency and reliability of the GE Jenbacher engine will enable Taranaki By-products to save on their energy costs and reduce their carbon footprint.
