St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion Install 150kW CHP System

Overview

Covenant Health Systems has installed multiple Co-Energy CHP systems at their assisted living facilities. Sites range in size from 60kW, 85kW to 150kW units. In 2015, when Covenant was looking to expand their eco-friendly and energy saving efforts at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion in Maine, they contracted a trusted vendor – Co-Energy America.

Co-Energy installed an Amerigen 150 kW CHP system, one of the first natural gas-fired packaged CHP units in the state. The system thermally ties into two boiler rooms. The project enjoyed a 50% grant from Efficiency Maine whose mission is to lower energy costs in Maine. Co-Energy is now an expert on the Efficiency Maine requirements for datalogging cogeneration systems.

The Co-Energy America CHP fleet extends throughout the Northeast. We tackle projects from Maine to Maryland.
