Clarke Energy Breaks Duck at Diggers and Dealers 2015

diggers and dealersClarke Energy were proud sponsors of the Diggers and Dealers 2015 cocktail reception of the first day of the show. This was Clarke Energy’s first year’s serious involvement with the event, with a view to supplying the mining industry with cost effective, highly efficient power generation infrastructure. Clarke Energy’s Australian operations are based in Adelaide and Perth and team members from both offices joining the staffing of the exhibition stand during the show. In testament to the high profile nature of the event, Clarke Energy’s stand also saw two international operations visitors in support – one from the UK and one from the USA, both of whom expressed that they were very impressed with the delivery of the event in Kalgoorlie.

Clarke Energy is the largest distributor and service provider for GE’s reciprocating engine range which includes both the high efficiency ‘Jenbacher gas engine’ and new spin off high efficiency diesel-fuelled products. GE and Clarke Energy made a joint press announcement at Diggers and Dealers that Clarke Energy was to become the distributor and service provider for GE’s Waukesha engines for gas compression, power generation and mechanical drive applications. This announcement was picked up well be the international media, further adding value to the Diggers and Dealers show.

Diggers and Dealers became a focus point for a series of Clarke Energy and GE events highlighting the new GE diesel range available in Australia, which followed the show in Perth, Sydney and Brisbane.

As part of the festivities, Clarke Energy had a prize draw for a 15 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, giving a nod to the heritage of the company. Richard Hedstrom from OZ Minerals was the lucky winner of the prize. Thanks from Clarke Energy to all those who participated.
