Visit from British Embassy to Racari Grid Balancing Project in Romania

Clarke Energy were delighted to receive the visit of Regional Director for Trade & Investment within Central Europe from British Embassy Warsaw, Richlove Mensah. Mr. Mensah visited one of the projects that is closest to our hearts, at Racari, where Clarke Energy Romania is both EPC contractor and shareholder within the EIS power plant.

The power plant at Racari is specialised in energy production that will be dedicated for the grid balancing services market. The first 20 MWe power plant will be commissioned early 2023 with further developments soon to follow in Q3 2023.

Besides being the EPC contractor, Clarke Energy also provides the state of the line engines, totalling an output of 40.3 MWe that will be dedicated towards grid balancing services.

Phase 1: 20.15 MWe – 6 x JMS 620 GS N.LC – v.J02, will be delivered in November 2022

Phase 2: 20.15 MWe – 6 x JMS 620 GS N.LC – v.J02, will be delivered in 2023

We wish to thank Mr. Mensah and his colleagues from British Embassy Bucharest for taking the time to visit us, for their encouragement and for the unyielding support towards bridging the gap between British and Romanian partnerships.
