Israq Spinning Mills Captive Power Plants, Bangladesh

Israq Spinning Mills Limited is a private limited company incorporated in Bangladesh in 2000. Israq Spinning Mills Limited is a 100% export oriented spinning mill. The daily production capacity of the company is roughly 17 MT. Israq Spinning Mills Ltd. mainly produces 20s-40s carded/combed yarn for export oriented knit ready-made garments.

Israq Spinning Mills installed 2 of GE’s Jenbacher gensets in 2013, each having capacity of 1,063 kW of electrical power. In 2014, they have installed another 2 units of JMS 320, each rated at 1,067 kW of electrical power at their sister company, Israq Textile Limited. Most recently the company has installed 3 units of JMS 420, each having capacity of 1,413 kW at their sister company, Israq Cotton Mills Limited. The gas engine generator provides reliable and quality power to the facility.

Clarke Energy supplied the generating sets and provided design and installation support to the site engineering staff prior to successful commissioning.
