Andrew Kretschmer, from Clarke Energy’s Australian operation, recently attained Chartered status with Engineers Australia which is the professional body which grants Chartered registration. Chartered status is the competitive edge and the mark that a person is globally recognised and acknowledged by the community, industry and Government as professional.

Chartered status shows that one has demonstrated leadership to peers, by demonstrating that one is a competent, well-rounded and ethical engineering professional who is current in their knowledge.

Andrew is a Senior Electrical Engineer with Clarke Energy Australia and joined the Company in June 2014.  Everyone at Clarke Energy congratulates Andrew on his achievement.

At the certificate presentation on 12 Sep 2018, Andrew said:

“I am delighted to have attained chartered status, an honour I take very seriously. I had been encouraged to apply for chartered status in past, but I wasn’t ready, it didn’t feel right.  The time is now right, I am ready, and being chartered feels right. Engineering is one of the most wonderful fields of endeavour and we are spoilt for choice of learning opportunities. I appreciate support from Clarke Energy and my family, without which I might only be another unremarkable engineer”.

“The importance of having engineers with globally recognised professional qualification is one that cannot be underestimated.  It is a mark of excellence that the company values and is proud of.  For our customers, they can be assured of the trust, skill & expertise delivered by our engineers” said Kong Leong, Director of Engineering and Sales.
