At last years’ NOGTech, Wale Raphael-Yusuff from Clarke Energy delivered a presentation on the benefits of using gas engines for embedded power using flare gas (associated petroleum gas) as a fuel source.
Following the success of this presentation Clarke Energy will be exhibiting at Nigeria Oil and Gas Technology 2013. Come talk to us to find out more about recent developments in the Nigerian flare gas sector.
The flaring of associated petroleum gas has been a significant environmental problem in Nigeria’s delta area. It is also wasteful as a valuable fuel is not being utilised.
Clarke Energy is able to provide gas engine-based power plants that can operate either on flare gas, or alternatively clean pipeline gas. This can deliver embedded combined heat and power solutions for the local area.
Presentation on the utilisation of containerised gas engines for flare gas applications can be found here.
