Clarke Energy is the authorised distributor and service provider for GE Energy’s Gas Engine Division in France. Clarke Energy is committed to delivering high quality installations and providing reliable, accountable, long term maintenance support for your generation equipment. Clarke Energy’s office is located in the industrial area of la Malle in Bouc-Bel-Air, between Marseille & Aix-en-Provence and is a specialist in natural gas applications, having installed over 75% of cogeneration equipment in France. Clarke Energy coordinates the management of our Algerian and Tunisian operations from France. The company was established as a subsidiary of the Austrian firm Jenbacher SAS in 2001. In 2003 GE acquired Jenbacher and in 2004 following a restructuring of GE Jenbacher’s subsidiary network the company became integrated into Clarke Energy. In France, Clarke Energy gained ISO 9001 certification in 2008. More than 376 Jenbacher gas engines are currently installed throughout France, providing over 584MW of electricity. 490MW of this has been provided by natural gas while the remaining 94MW has come from biological gas applications. Clarke Energy’s installations meet the highest levels of environmental performance. Examples of developments include renewable energy facilities on landfill and biogas, high efficiency generation via combined heat and power and coal mine facilities capturing gases which would otherwise have escaped to atmosphere.
