Clarke Energy Appointed as Export Champion

NWEC - High res 2014Clarke Energy is delighted to be appointed as Export Champion 2014 by the United Kingdom Trade and Investment (UKTI) organisation. The appointment is in acknowledgement of Clarke Energy’s international trade success.

Export Champions act as champions for export, promoting export success to other people and businesses in the UK.

Clarke Energy is now operating in 11 countries including the UK, Ireland, France, Algeria, Tunisia, Nigeria, Tanzania, India, Bangladesh, Australia and New Zealand. Clarke Energy is the largest distributor and service provider for GE’s Jenbacher gas engine and is a specialist in the provision of gas to power solutions, focusing on low carbon and renewable distributed energy. The company is also a global leader in the provision of combined heat and power technologies.

In 2013 the company has successfully won a number of high profile international projects including:

The supply of biogas engines to a pioneering anaerobic digestion plant near Lake Naivahsa in Kenya,

The supply of a CHP plant for the supply of stable power to a medical equipment factory at the forefront of the fight against Aids and Malaria in Nigeria

The supply of a landfill gas power plant to Bord na Mona in Ireland

The supply of a power plant at Nestle Nigeria’s flower gas facility pioneering the use of CNG for electricity.

The company has also recently acquired the Bangladeshi arm of Orient Energy in Bangladesh.
